Each year, the Chinese Community Association of Hampton Roads sponsors a charity golf tournament. The event is always well-attended with great prizes and raffles. With the money raised, CCAHR is able to award scholarships to the young leaders of our community as well s support various worthy causes in the community.

Over and above the purpose of promoting cultural diversity, CCAHR also acknowledges its role in the community and earmarks a portion of tournament proceeds for donations to life-changing charities each year, including the Leukemia/Lymphoma Association, the Foundation for Kidney Transplant, Hurrican Katrina Relief, and cancer research.

The Fifth Annual CCA Golf Tournament is tentatively set for June 2, 2007 at Bide-A-Wee Golf Course in Portsmouth, VA. This annual fundraiser is a great way to have fun and also support student scholarships and local charities. Last year we awarded $1,000 in scholarships and also donated $1,000 to the American Cancer Society. Please join us as a sponsor, supporter, and player in this year's tournament.
